School on Wheels: Rolling Education to the streets!
In this episode of Thoughts for a More Sustainable World, KU Leuven students Giulia Zanetta and Adrian Segundo Staels explore the importance of access to quality education and how organizations are contributing to the advancement of Sustainable Development Goal #4 (Quality Education). SDG #4 objective is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all (United Nations, 2022). Adrian and Giulia discuss how the lack of access to education is impacting children worldwide and how non-formal education initiatives, like socially innovative projects, can play a crucial role in supporting these children. Joining them are Lieva Hadisi, a master’s student in sociology, and an exclusive interview with social entrepreneur Arnoud Raskin, founder of the Mobile School. Raskin discusses his work as a social entreprenuer and his years building the Mobile School.

Podcast Production:
Overall, our team worked collaboratively, with each member initially taking responsibility for a specific area.
- Lola and Stien developed the interview questions for the interview with Arnoud Raskin and set up the interview itself.
- Lieva drafted the initial script, making sense of the structure and how SDG #4 will fit.
- Giulia and Adrian conducted the analysis to ensure our project was in alignment with course material.
Once this stage was complete, the team worked together to strengthen our script and ensure it reflected where it is now. The draft recording was completed by Adrian, Giulia, and Lieva, while Stien did the final edits for our first submission. The final recording was completed by Adrian, Giulia, Lieva, and Stien, while Lola did the edits for the final submission. Lieva completed the abstract report.
